These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Grid52 and all related services (the "Service"). By using Grid52, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

"Grid52", "we", "us", and "our" refer to the Grid52 product and its operators. "You" refers to the individual or entity using the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Grid52. By using the Service, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are using Grid52 on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

An account is not required to use basic features. If you create an account (via magic link email), you are responsible for keeping your access secure. You may not share your account with others.

You own the grid data, notes, and other content you create in Grid52 ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant Grid52 a limited license to store and process Your Content solely to provide and improve the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring Your Content does not infringe any third-party rights or violate any laws.

Shared grids: If you choose to share a grid via a public link, you are responsible for what you share. Grid52 only exposes the structure and tool names on shared views - notes and costs are never shared.

We aim to keep Grid52 available around the clock, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. We may perform maintenance, apply updates, or make changes at any time. We will try to give advance notice for planned downtime.

We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. We will not make changes that deliberately degrade the core experience without notice.

Grid52 is currently available at no cost. We may introduce paid plans in the future. If we do, existing free functionality will be grandfathered or given reasonable notice before any changes take effect.

The Grid52 name, logo, product design, and underlying code are owned by Grid52 and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from the Service without our express written permission.

The tool names, logos, and trademarks displayed within Grid52 as part of the tool database belong to their respective owners. Grid52 makes no claim of ownership over third-party tool brands.

Your use of Grid52 is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read it carefully.

The tool database and recommendations in Grid52 are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional advice. Always evaluate tools independently before making purchasing decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Grid52 shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

Grid52's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months.

You may stop using Grid52 at any time. You may request deletion of your account and data by emailing us.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or if required by law. We will try to give advance notice where possible.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections covering intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "last updated" date above and notify signed-in users by email for material changes. Continued use of Grid52 after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
