These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Grid52 (the "Service"), operated by Grid52 ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
Grid52 is a browser-based tool that allows users to map, score, and analyze their go-to-market (GTM) technology stacks. Core features are available without creating an account. An optional account (via email magic link) enables cloud sync of your grids across devices.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using Grid52 you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
3. Accounts
Account creation is optional. If you create an account:
- You are responsible for keeping your access credentials secure.
- You must use a valid email address you own or are authorized to use.
- You may not share your account with others or use another person's account.
- You must notify us immediately at hello@grid52.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulation.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use automated scripts or bots to scrape or interact with the Service at scale.
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of any data you enter into Grid52 (tool names, notes, cost data, etc.). By using the Service you grant us a limited license to store and process that data solely to provide and improve the Service. We do not sell your content to third parties.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. We make no claims about the completeness or reliability of any stack analysis output.
6. Intellectual Property
The Grid52 name, logo, software, and all associated materials are owned by Grid52 and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, trade names, or logos.
7. Free Tier and Paid Plans
The core functionality of Grid52 is free. Certain advanced features are available under a paid Pro plan. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe and governed by their terms. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRID52 AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $50, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may delete your account at any time via the Settings panel in the app.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
